Foreigners seeking to enter Tanzania should be in possession of a valid passport or a pass. Visas can be obtained at all points of arrival. Check with your travel agent for guidance.
The passport/pass must be presented to the immigration control office at any entry point – border station, airport, and harbor.
All foreigners are required to have a valid visa unless their countries have agreements with Tanzania under which the visa requirement is waived.
