Designed in typically Edwardian style, this exclusive safari camp features an elegant central meeting tent evocatively furnished with a tasteful selection of chintz-covered chaises lounges, Persian rugs, antique escritoire-bound travelling cases, brass shooting sticks, carved rocking chairs and stub-backed smoking chairs. In keeping with the theme of colonial opulence, the elegant twin dining tents feature Edwardian-styled dining furniture, sprung floors; crisp-starched napery, delicate blue and white china and weighty silver accoutrements, whilst the staff are attired in classical colonial ‘mess’ uniform of white Swahili robes.

Ikoma wild camp is located just outside the Serengeti National Park at the Grumeti Game Reserve and ikoma Game Controlled Area; this is an area of unspoilt bush country where game drives and walking safaris are possible at a day and night. The camp is also the best base for game drives at Serengeti National Park simply because it provides an easy access to rich wilderness of Serengeti. Our comfortable permanent camp lies between two kopjes-(bizarrely shaped rock anselbergs protruding from the underlying plains). All tents and bandas have a stunning view over the surrounding savannah which is full of wildlife during thr whole year.
Between August and October you can even observe the world-famous East-African migration of wildebeest with over 2 million animals moving between the Maasai Mara and the Serengeti-right from you tent or banda! The camp is composed of 7 bandas (round tradition houses) and 10 comfortable tents with capacity to accommodate 2 guests each and a large dining tent.

In a day’s drive you can reach Moru kopje, Maasai kopje with the rock painting and N’gongo rocks to the south Grummet River and the western Corridor, Retima Hippo pool and even lobo area to the north. A large camp with 18 large guest tents including a family tent unit and a dinning tent, Each guest tent has an en-suit bathroom with shower, vanity desk, flush toilet with the option of a king size bed or 2 twin beds all fitted with mosquito nets.
A large dinning tent perfect for our clients to meet and exchange their daily game drive experiences, the camp fire is always available depending on the weather, the camp operates as from 01st June to 30th November and moves to Ndutu South of Serengeti where it operates as from 01st December to 31st March.

PUMZIKA SAFARI CAMP

Pumzika is located in Seronera region of the Serengati National Park, opened in 2010, Pumzika is the sister camp to Pakula on the Ngorongoro Crater rim.
This is traditional-style tented camp set up in contemporary, relatively high-end-style, the square, carpeted lounge and mess tent is simply but comfortably furnished with tea and coffee always available, you’ll find guests relaxing and charging their cameras ready for their next game drive. The eleven, good-size guest tents are set on a gently shelving plain with not much shade, comfy beds, good linen and iron-framed furniture give them a clean, voguish look. Tents are complimented by simple bathrooms with double, porcelain wash basins, flushing loos and traditional safari shower-staff bring hot water when required, each tent has a leather-covered directors’ chair, the perfect place to relax and gaze out over the plains of the savannah.

Set in the midst of an incredible scenery of savannah and skies, you find Ikoma Tented Camp, sheltered in a grove of acacia trees, Ikoma has 35 traditional Meru tents, each under thatchwith private veranda overlooking the impressive plains of the Serengeti. The central restaurant and bar area boast a large camp fire- an ideal spot to unwind with a chilled drink after a long days of exciting game viewing.

A large camp with 12 large guest tent including a 2tent family unit, a lounge and dining tent, each guest tent has an en-suite bathroom with shower, vanity desk and flush toilets.
Depending on request a king size bed or 2 twin beds or triples are available , the lounge is the place to meet other travelers and share you safari stories while enjoying a complementary cup of Tanzania coffee or tea. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served in the dining tent, freshly prepared by our chefs on a daily basis, our bust TV (the local name for camp fire) is lit when weather permits.
