The Best Time To Visit:

June to October (dry season)

  • Luscious green landscape
  • Clear views of Kilimanjaro and Meru more likely from December to February
  • April and May is low season, the region is much quieter during this period
  • Arusha National Park offers unrivalled wildlife viewing opportunities all year round
  • Excellent time of year for birdwatchers due to the presence of migratory birds
  • Roads more difficult to navigate during the wet season
  • Peak wet season is March to May with heavy downpours frequent.
