Ikoma wild camp is located just outside the Serengeti National Park at the Grumeti Game Reserve and ikoma Game Controlled Area; this is an area of unspoilt bush country where game drives and walking safaris are possible at a day and night.
The camp is also the best base for game drives at Serengeti National Park simply because it provides an easy access to rich wilderness of Serengeti.
Our comfortable permanent camp lies between two kopjes-(bizarrely shaped rock anselbergs protruding from the underlying plains). All tents and bandas have a stunning view over the surrounding savannah which is full of wildlife during thr whole year. Between August and October you can even observe the world-famous East-African migration of wildebeest with over 2 million animals moving between the Maasai Mara and the Serengeti-right from you tent or banda!
The camp is composed of 7 bandas (round tradition houses) and 10 comfortable tents with capacity to accommodate 2 guests each and a large dining tent.
