The bill in question is the Bringing Back Gaming Control Act. It is currently under discussion in the House of Representatives. The main goal of the bill is to tax online gambling as well as establish an all-national registry of gaming websites. This would force all internet casinos to sign up with the government, which would require the establishment of new accounts in the Philippines.
The House of Representatives may pass the Bringing Back Gaming Control Act However, it is not likely that it will be an act of law.
